Yoruba Popular actor Murphy Afolabi, is dead

Murphy Afolabi, a well-known Yoruba cinema actor, has passed away. He passed away early on Sunday. This comes less than a day after word of the passing of well-known Nollywood actor Saint Obi spread.

There are currently no known facts on the circumstances behind Afolabi’s passing, however Tunde Ola-Yusuf, a coworker of the deceased in the Yoruba subsector of Nollywood, has confirmed the tragic news.

Famous actor, director, and producer Ola-Yusuf paid tribute to Afolabi on his Facebook page on Sunday afternoon.

He wrote: “REST IN PEACE…

“May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss.

“Good night Muphy Afolabi.”
