Your legacy will never end, Illbliss pays tribute to Dagrin
Nigerian Rapper, Illbliss has paid tribute to his late colleague, Oladapo Olaonipekun, popularly called Dagrin.
The fast-rising indigenous rapper died in a fatal auto crash on April 22, 2010.
Remembering the late rapper on the 14th anniversary of his death, Illbliss said his “legacy will never end.”
Sharing a picture of Dagrin on X, Illbliss wrote: “Keep Resting Bro! Your legacy will never end. We remember you. We respect your colossal immeasurable contributions to Nigerian Hiphop. You inspired so many keep resting.”
Dagrin, who died at 25 was widely credited for paving the way for indigenous rap in Nigeria and inspiring many other indigenous rappers even after his death.
He was known for hits like Pon Pon Pon, Thank God (feat. Omawumi), Kondo, If I Die and many more.
