A 2026 candidate of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has sparked conversations online after lamenting over a low score of 26.
The candidate, whose identity has not been disclosed, expressed frustration in a viral post, questioning his chances of gaining admission into any Nigerian university.
“This is very unfortunate. Which university will admit me with a JAMB score of 26?” the candidate wrote.
He further revealed that the outcome came as a shock, noting that he had adequately prepared for the examination.
“Despite reading all my textbooks,” he added.
The post has since generated mixed reactions across social media platforms.
