Breaking: FG Postpones Population Census To May
The federal government of Nigeria has postponed the 2023 population and housing census to May 2023.
The census was initially scheduled to hold on March 29, two weeks after the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
Minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed confirmed the postponement on Wednesday, March 15.
He made the confirmation at the end of the federal executive council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
