Haaland To Miss Euro 2024 After Norway's Narrow Defeat To Spain

Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland will miss the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany after his country of birth, Norway was defeated 1-0 by Spain on Monday night.

The ex-Dortmund star struggled to impress, with Spain’s Gavi scoring the game’s only goal for Spain to end Norway’s chances of reaching the finals next summer.

Spain rarely gave Haaland a chance to show his brilliance, much to the delight of their manager, Luis de la Fuente.

“It’s the work of the whole team, from the first forward to the goalkeeper, especially the defence, the centre-backs were spectacular,” he said.

“But it was the whole team, it was a complete game.
