Caleb Willingham, husband of 1000 lbs. “Sisters” star Tammy Slayton has died at the age of 40, People magazine has confirmed. “It is with great sadness that I share the news of my husband’s passing,” Slayton, 36, said in an exclusive statement to People magazine. “He was my best friend and I loved him so much.”

“When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he truly is watching over me. Our family appreciates everyone’s sympathy and asks that you respect our privacy at this time.”

Slayton and Willingham met in 2022 at the Windsor Lane Rehab Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. He proposed in October, and in November, People magazine exclusively announced that the couple had tied the knot.

“You all know me as Tammy Slaton, but now you all know me as Lady Tammy Willingham,” Tammy said at the time. “I’m married now!”

The couple decided to marry while in rehab. Only 30 friends and family were invited to the small celebration, hosted by Billy, her home caregiver and family friend.

“When I saw Caleb on the altar, all I could think of were doves and butterflies, like God opened the clouds to let the sunlight in,” Slaton said in a later clip of the series. “It’s amazing.”

“My heart exploded when I finally saw her,” Caleb added.

“I can’t believe I’m writing this but God called my brother home today,” wrote Facebook user I’am Willc, who shared a photo of Willingham in front of a microphone. “Rest in peace. Caleb Willingham aka Killla K aka Double K aka dynamic WWF Tag Team Champions one of the W Boys aka the biggest supporter of everything I do. You will always be loved and missed. Until we meet again .”
